Ásmundur is a young gelding that has been trained for about 4 months now. He is super sweet with a great character, easy to work with, and very eager to unserstand his rider's aids and do everying correct. Ásmundur is fourgaited with elastic movements and good leg lift. His trot comes with long strides, the tölt is on clean beat and shows already his future capabilities. His canter nicely upwards and with good ability to collect.
With further training, he will gain more balance and strength and has all the potential to become a competition horse for fourgait and tölt in the future. A great chance for someone who wants to finish training and building up his future horse themselves.
Ásmundur is sired by Fundur frá Hólum, son of 1st Prize stallion Arnoddur frá Auðsholtshjáleigu and Honorary Prize Mare Þilja frá Hólum. His mother is Blesa frá Neðra-Ási, daughter of 1st Prize stallion Jarl frá Búðardal.
