Promising 3 year old gelding, interesting prospect for fourgait competitions!
Aðall is a red dun gelding, born 2016, out of the 1st prize Ómur frá Kvistum son Stimpill frá Hestheimum. Stimpill was last year’s competition horse of Gústaf Ásgeir Hinriksson, competing in master class T2 and T4, and was also competing with Siggi Matt in Gæðingakeppni A-Class (five gait) in 2017 with very good results. Aðall’s mother is Dáð frá Dalbæ, evaluated with 8.18 for ridden abilities.
Aðall is handled as much as a 3 year old should be, knows halter and being led, lifing legs and trimming hooves. He shows really impressive gaits when running free with especially amazing trot with unbelievable speed range. Both parents are fivegaiters, thus not with overwhelming high marks for pace, thus we think Aðall is rather a 4,5 gaiter (fourgaiter with pace).
Aðall was not measured yet but is of regular size for a three year old, rather strongly built, and with natural high leg lift.
