Sölvi is a 2016 born red stallion with blaze sired by Hildingur frá Bergi, who is evaluated with a total of 8.41 and 8.54 for ridden abilities. Hildingur is a well known competition horse here in Iceland, making himself a name with his rider and trainer Þórarinn Ragnarsson in F1 (masterclass) with marks up to 7.24 and Gæðingakeppni 5gait up to 8.58.

Sölvi’s mother Snælda frá Sólheimum, one of the last daughter of the super stallion Hervar frá Sauðárkróki (Honorary Prize for offsprings, father to amongst others Otur) and a Hrafn frá Holtsmúla daughter, thus combining the probably most famous breeding lines ever existed in her.
Sölvi is a handsome nicely built young boy with long legs, arched neck and sporty cylindrical body. Like his parents he is clearly fivegaited, showing trot and tölt equally with long strides and big leg lift.
