Þótta is a 2016 born really tall mare, over 1.50m on stick, with amazing character. Right from the start she was super easy to train, she loves to be around people, and always tries her best to please her rider. Nothing can scare her, you can move around in the saddle, she stays calm and relaxed, although she is still very young and has finished only her basic training under the saddle.
With more training (Þótta is about 2 month under the saddle), this amazing mare will be an amazing horse for the whole family: Super reliable and unafraid, very cooperative, easy to handle and ride, strong and tall, so that she also suits bigger riders. Þótta is fivegaited and shows a lot of tölt under the saddle. With further training and gaining more balance and strength, she will develop good movements and could be suitable for competing, too.
Þótta also doesn't need to hide her pedigree: Þótta's sire is Finnur frá Ármóti, 1st Prize stallion with 8.55 in total, and a son of Álffinnur frá Syðri-Gegnishólum, the youngest horse ever to receive the 1st Prize for offsprings. Þótta´s mother is Þula frá Litla-Moshvoli, daughter of Óður frá Brún and Þöll frá Hólum (who also is the mother of Þótti frá Hólum). Þula is evaluated with 8 for tölt, slow tölt, and spirit.
