Ættartréð hennar er hlaðið kynbótahrossum í báðar áttir og því er Aþean mjög áhugaverð sem bæði framtíðar keppnis- og ræktunarhryssa.

Aþena is 1 year old mare , sired by Klettur frá Hvammi and Syrpa frá Stóra-Langadal..We thing Aþena is 5-gaited she showed rhythmic walk, a swinging and elastic trot, tölt with naturally high leg action and an uphill canter in the pasture.Aþena is a very spirited young mare with cooperative character.
