Við skruppum um daginn með nokkrar merar á Hvolsvöll til hans Elvars Þormarssonar til að fá hann til að prufa þær, en við stefnum með þær í kynbótadóm í vor.
Við erum mjög spennt fyrir þessum merum og vonum að allt gangi eftir í vetur og afraksturinn sjáist í vor.
Fyrsta merin (brún) er Þokkadís frá Traðarlandi, en hún er einnig til sölu. Foreldrar hennar eru bæði með 1.verðlaun en hún er undan Ófeigi frá Þorláksstöðum og Óskadís frá Tjarnarlandi. Virkilega spennandi meri með mikla möguleika. Meiri upplýsingar, myndi og video af Þokkadís má finna hér.
Önnur merin (bleikálótt) er Ópera frá Kálfhóli 2, en hún er undan Stála frá Kjarri og Golu frá Kálfhóli 2. Hún er einnig mjög spennandi og hæfileikarík meri.
Þriðja merin (rauð) er Fold frá Ási, en hún er undan Hróa frá Skeiðháholti og Freyju frá Hafnarfirði. Fold er einstaklega mjúk tölhryssa og verður gaman að sjá hvernig hún kemur undan vori.

The other day we went to Hvolsvöllur to visit Elvar Þormarsson to get him to try out few mares for us, but we want to take them to an assessment this spring.
We are very excited for these mares and we hope that they'll just get better with coming spring.
